How to integrate new EU countries
If you already have an integration with itsme®, it's very easy to use the same technical setup, which is standard across all available European countries. Specific test accounts are available to test your different flows.

to set-up your itsme® integration for your customers outside of Belgium
Create your business account and sandbox
If you have previously integrated itsme® and wish to extend your integration beyond Belgium, please contact us. You can use your existing sandbox environment for your new flows.
Develop your use case & integration
Your developers and UX teams can start to design your new flow. All countries have the same standard technical integration, but beware of the variations in the data claims (see below).
Test your use case
Our team will help and guide you along the way.
Ready to go live!
After the final administration and configuration, you are ready to go live. You can start informing your customers about itsme®.
The available data
Itsme® retrieves data directly from ID cards, passports or residence permit, which ensures that the data is reliable and consistent across different countries. However, the National Register Number, legal address and place of birth are not available outside of Belgium.
